I offer private singing lessons at my home in Greenfield, MA for singers of any ability aged 14 and up.

 

Have you always wanted to sing but never quite found the confidence?  Perhaps you've stopped singing for a while and would now like to brush up your technique and get back into it?  Or are you interested in learning more about early music, and applying historical performance practice to your singing?

 

When it comes to music, I'm a starry-eyed optimist: I do truly believe that anyone can sing, and that the world would be a better place if more of us did more of the time.  I can help you get more singing into your life, and feel better about it too.

 

I hold a Master's in vocal pedagogy from the Musik-Akademie Basel and have taught singers ranging from kids and total beginners to master's students. From 2019 to 2022, I taught in the Instrumental and Vocal Extension Program at Wellesley High School, and in 2022 I joined the voice faculty of Deerfield Academy and Artspace Greenfield.

 

In my teaching, I strive to demystify the many aspects of singing, and make vocal technique tangible, accessible, and interesting.  There tends to be a lot of laughter in my lessons, as technical and musical discoveries are made and new sounds are produced.
